Ilford Pan F 50

Very punchy, very smooth grain film - great for accuracy and sharpness.

This roll was shot around the city of Vienna. The clarity brings a different kind of atmosphere to these scenes, almost an ultra-realistic kind of look created by the harsh lines and shapes. Nice and contrasty too.

It's ideal to use a film with as low an ISO as possible if your aim is to achieve the sharpest shots, but of course this will affect the way you shoot. It was not particularly bright when we shot this roll so we were forced to use a very long exposure time to compensate for this. Not a problem when you're mainly photographing architecture or landscapes, but if you're shooting a moving object and don't want any blur, this probably isn't the film for you.
